The garden

This is where your holiday begins. Beneath the old trees of the spacious fairy-tale garden you sway in the hammock, the little fairy-tale hut with its bridge becomes an adventure for the children, and from the swing you look across to the rocks. In between there is table tennis or a game of football. And when it gets dark, you gather at the natural stone barbecue area with its fire pit and loungers, or let the day drift away in the hot tub.

Inside the house

After a day like that, you will sleep really well: the 5 bedrooms have especially comfortable beds, and the furniture comes from a professional hotel outfitter. Each pair of single beds is pushed together into a double and joined with a topper. Travelling as friends or colleagues? Just let us know beforehand and we will set them apart. The fifth bedroom also has a sofa that converts into a bunk bed, giving you beds for 12. In the well-equipped kitchen you cook together, with a Thermomix and, yes, even a Nutella machine. Bed linen and towels are of course included.

Location and day trips

You stay in Gerolstein, in the heart of the Volcanic Eifel and right by the Gerolstein Dolomites. The Eifelsteig trail is waiting for your hiking boots, and with children the Kasselburg Eagle and Wolf Park is well worth a visit. The Nürburgring is about 30 minutes away by car, Belgium about 45. You will reach Trier, Koblenz and northern Luxembourg in around an hour, Cologne in just over an hour. You will receive the exact address after booking.

What are the bathrooms like?

There are 2 bathrooms, both with walk-in showers. With a little planning in the morning, it works perfectly well even with twelve of you.

Is the ground floor step-free?

Yes, the ground floor is step-free. The front door is about 1 m wide, the interior doors about 80 cm, and the showers are walk-in. If you need other measurements, we are happy to send them in advance.

What is there for children?

A cot, high chairs, children’s tableware and a changing table are ready for you. In the play corner under the stairs you will find a children’s table, books, an activity cube, building blocks and toy cars.

Can we bring our dog?

A small dog is very welcome for a fee.

Where do we park?

Right in front of the house you have 3 private parking spaces and a wallbox for electric cars.

Is the internet good enough for work?

The house has fibre-optic Wi-Fi. It is enough even when several people are streaming or working at the same time.

Can we celebrate here?

Family celebrations and get-togethers with friends are very welcome! From 10 pm things quieten down outside so the neighbours can sleep well too. Clubs, school groups and youth groups, please drop us a short note beforehand.

When do we arrive and leave?

Check-in is from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am.
